This is a very different time that we are living in. We miss our family. We miss our friends. We canceled plans for events that are important to us. The health and safety of everyone at this time is very important and so is connection with those we care about. So how do we stay connected in a time like this?
If you haven't heard of Zoom yet, now might be a good time to look into it. It allows groups of people to come together for work or personal reasons and chat face to face (virtually). Not only can you catch up with those that you are missing, but people have started to get creative and started hosting fun events on zoom with their friends and family. Here are some fun ideas to keep you connected with those you are missing.
PowerPoint Party
If you are regularly doing a zoom chat with family or friends, it could be really fun to give someone a spotlight and allow them to do a power point presentation about something they are interested in or passionate about. It's a fun way to learn new things and learn more about your friends' interests.
Craft Party
Schedule a meeting time with your crafty friends and complete a DIY project that you found on Pinterest. It could be a DIY that you've never done, or it could be a craft that you are familiar with. Learn about it together or you could share your how to's with your friends.
Game Night
Game night doesn't have to end just because we can't see each other in person. You can virtually play any game that doesn't require players to share a board or cards. Some examples: Bingo, Pictionary, Scategories, Cards Against Humanity and more.
What are some fun and creative parties you have put together on Zoom?
