If you have always living in Urban areas, you might want to consider living in the country. Personally having lived on a farm out in the country, I know there is truth to the benefits I am about to share with you about living in a more rural area. I do enjoy both urban and rural areas, but they each have something different to offer. Here is what County Living can provide you.
Less Stress
When you live out in the country, you have more space, privacy and life is a much slower pace. Your quality of life actually increases when you move to the country. You experience cleaner air, you can buy organic, fresh produce from the farmer up the street and you have the opportunity to spend more time in nature which is a big stress reliever of its own.
Save Money
A lot of times, homes that are outside of the city are cheaper than those in the city limits. The further out you go, the more you can get for your money. It can also be pretty common for taxes to be less out in rural areas as well. You might even see expenses like auto insurance decrease once you make the move. The reason for this leads to the next benefit that I am sharing with you...
Safer Living
With less people around, less shenanigans are happening. More than likely, you will get to know your neighbors and watch out for each other. But it is pretty simple, with a lower population in your area, there are just less people to cause trouble.
Country living isn't for everyone. Some people enjoy the hustle of the city, and that is absolutely fine. If you are looking for ways to slow down and smell the roses, this country life might be the perfect change for you.
