Spring Home Projects you may have Forgotten!

We've been fortunate enough to feel some warmer weather over the past couple of weeks. Today is actually the first day of Spring! With the weather warming up, this is a great season to take care of some home projects that we avoid due to the cold temperatures. Here are a few that you may have forgotten about:

 

Clean the Inside and Outside of Windows

This is a great time of year to get outside and clean those windows. Remove the screens and wash them with a mild detergent and let air dry before putting them back on the window. You can also tackle two projects by checking for moisture in your windows. If you find some, it may need new weather stripping to prevent the warm Summer air from creeping in.

Visit the Attic & Basement

Now is a good time to make sure insulation is in good condition in the attic. While you are up there, check for any signs of insects. This is also something to check for in the basement. The sooner you take care of those critters, the better.

 

Check the Grill!

Last, but not least, check on that Grill! If you enjoy the warmer weather, make sure your grill is ready to fire up as soon as the weather permits. Who else is excited for some delicious steaks this Summer? (This is really a bonus, but it sure does make Summer more fun!)
